Oral antiseptics are oral rinses designed to prevent the growth of microorganisms or eliminate their presence in the oral cavity. They are applied topically to help prevent infection in wounds caused by minor oral irritations, cuts, scrapes, or injury following minor dental procedures.

CPC has also been shown to be effective against viruses such as influenza, rotavirus, herpes simplex virus, hepatitis B and some coronaviruses.¹ The FDA has not approved this claim and further research is needed. More studies need to be conducted to show CPC’s efficacy against viruses and any upper respiratory illnesses.

Plaque and gingivitis are two common germs and bacteria CPC is effective against, which is why it is used in mouthwashes and toothpastes.

Spray into the mouth 1-3 times to coat mouth and throat. Spit any residual liquid. This product can be used up to 3 times a day, or as directed by a dentist or doctor.

Store at temperatures between 59°F to 86°F (15°C and 30°C) as extreme heat or cold could affect this product.
